who can we help?

The right kind of funding can help you get to where you want to be — and it’s our

job to provide homeowners with an assistance program that will make it easier to

afford home repairs and improvements

We provide practical and goal-oriented support to individuals, families, and communities across multiple regions. Our work is hands-on. We have a personal stake in developing thriving communities because they’re our communities. We live here and it truly matters to us. So we offer a variety of services to help you on the road to affordable home repairs and rehab.

Rural Affordable Housing Partners Inc. is dedicated to supporting other not-for-profit organizations specializing in Affordable Housing Owner Occupied Rehab projects. Meet our partners Osage County Economic Development Corp. (OCEDC) and the Greater Morris County Development Corporation (GMDC). OCEDC serves all of NE and SE Kansas. GMDC serves all of Morris County.

Some of our home repair work includes:

    • Accessibility Modifications,
    • Weatherization,
    • Energy Efficiency,
    • Critical Repairs, and
    • Exterior Repair Services to remedy code violations and revitalize neighborhoods.

This program IS AVAILABLE TO INDIVIDUALS LIVING IN LYON, CHASE, DICKINSON, MORRIS, WABAUNSEE, Geary and Marion COUNTY KANSAS WITH NO AGE LIMITS. APPLICANTS MUST BE owner-occupied AND CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THE HOME.

Often, due to limited budgets and physical restrictions, homeowners are unable to make basic repairs on their homes. By addressing these basic repairs often and early, we hope to reduce the need for critical repairs and assist homeowners in the ability to live in their homes without environmental concerns or structural risks.
